The Village Tea House is a quaint and traditional experience. It is perfect if you have never been to a tea house, or if you are a seasoned tea drinker, you will find it to be in line with others you have been to.
Located right next to North Wales, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, you will want to stop here.
In this post, you will learn about The Village Tea House.
Look And Ambiance Of The Village Tea House
Before entering The Village Tea House, a fence of teapots greets you, which sets up the experience! Inside are all the looks of a traditional tea house with English-style plates and cups, but with twists of specific themes for each room. Our room was a western theme with gun holster napkin holders and cactuses. It is a lovely and warming atmosphere where you feel at home.
The shop has a lot of unique items. I mainly found the tea-themed night lights to be fun. There is also everything else you would expect, such as tea selection, jams, tea cups, teapots, and more!
The Food
Of course, the food is on point! We had a three-tier set of tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. Some sandwiches included an egg salad sandwich with a pickle, cream cheese on cranberry swirl bread, and traditional ham and cheese. The scones were cranberry white chocolate chip. Finally, desserts! A chocolate muffin with peanut butter icing, pumpkin moose, and a tea bag cookie dipped in chocolate is a great touch!
The Tea
There is a nice list of teas, all very typical of a tea house menu, and many are blends. However, on this visit, we had Darjeeling, which was light and smooth. You can check out the teas they offer on their menu. If you are new to tea, check out my five quick facts to help boost your knowledge.
Overall
The Village Tea House holds a special place in my heart. It was the second tea house I visited and is part of my current community. They have the traditional experience with small twists in decor. You will want to add The Village Tea House to your list.
