Part of my journey in learning about Japanese green tea has been the discovery of Japanese black tea.

There is real beauty with Japanese green tea. Each variety I try from a different farmer or prefecture adds very subtle changes in flavor. The art of brewing in the Kyusu creates an meaningful experience every time.

My wife @rayrayjay16 and I visited @atasteofbritain over the holidays. This quaint English tea room had the spirit of the holiday combined with a wonderful set menu featuring scones, tea sandwiches, and desserts.

Hanging out this afternoon, I’ve been reflecting on the start of 2022. I have a ton to be grateful for. Tea challenges me to keep learning, keep experimenting, share what I know, keep having fun, and just to keep going.

Checking out Golden Eyebrows this morning. I picked this up from @kuchatea during my trip to Denver. A wonderful malty black tea with hints of chocolate and tobacco. Also, my first reel! Have to start somewhere. It’s the perfect tea to celebrate being halfway done the week. What are you drinking today?

Tea at 8,600 feet, surrounded by amazing Colorado views just hits different. I also love that I am able to still enjoy my Sencha because of the great travel kit my brother and sister-in-law gifted me. Just had to get some hot water and I was good to go.
